There’s an energy to Nigerian events that’s simply unmatched. From the electric pulse of a sold-out concert at the Eko Convention Centre in Lagos to the buzz of a groundbreaking tech conference in Abuja , or the vibrant colours of a cultural festival in Port Harcourt —our nation thrives on connection, celebration, and shared experiences.

As an event organizer, you are the architect of these moments. You pour your heart into creating something special, and your success depends on a million moving parts falling perfectly into place. One of the most critical parts? Selling tickets online . It has to be smooth, secure, and simple for everyone, no matter where they are in Nigeria .

Here at Sellenda, we live and breathe event management . Our mission has always been to provide you with the most powerful and intuitive event ticketing platform in Nigeria . And today, we’re taking a massive step forward in that mission.

Introducing Our New Primary Payment Partner: Flutterwave

We are thrilled to announce that we are making Flutterwave our primary payment gateway partner!

For anyone in the Nigerian tech and business space, Flutterwave needs no introduction. They are a powerhouse, driving payments for everyone from individual creators to multinational corporations. By deepening our integration with them, we are unlocking a new level of reliability and flexibility for you and your attendees.

Why This is a Game-Changer for Event Organizers in Nigeria

This isn't just a technical update; it's a strategic move to help you sell more tickets and grow your events. Here’s what it means for you:

Unlock More Ticket Sales with Hyper-Local Payments: Your attendees can now pay how they want to pay. We’re talking card payments, direct bank transfers, USSD, Mobile Money, and more. By offering this full suite of Naira payment options, you reduce friction at checkout and make it effortless for fans to buy tickets for your Lagos events .
A Rock-Solid, Hassle-Free Checkout Experience: Nothing is more frustrating than a failed payment. This upgrade brings enhanced stability, meaning higher transaction success rates. Fewer abandoned carts, more confirmed attendees, and a professional checkout flow you can be proud of.
-Unbreakable Security for Total Peace of Mind: Your revenue and your customers' data are your most important assets. Flutterwave’s world-class, PCI-DSS Level 1 certified security means every single transaction is protected by the highest global standards. Focus on your event, knowing the money is safe.

A Quick Word on Paystack

We know that many of you have built your event businesses using our Paystack integration, and we want to be completely transparent. To deliver this powerful new Flutterwave experience, we are temporarily pausing the Paystack option.

Think of it as a pit stop, not a final destination. Our team is hard at work upgrading our Paystack integration to make it even more seamless. Paystack will be returning soon , and when it does, you will have the power of choice between two of Africa’s best payment gateways.

Your Next Sold-Out Event Starts Now
